ABOUT ME
Bev West is a seasoned graphic designer, creative director, project manager and creative collaborator. She has over 18 years design and brand identity experience and more than 14 years of creative team and vendor relationship management experience. She started her career as a graphic designer for Street Corner News (a national retail franchise company), worked as a cover artist for Jostens Printing and Publishing, spent nine years as an in-house senior designer and creative director at Protection 1 Alarm Monitoring (the second largest security company in the United States) and led the creative team and Student Design Center at KU Memorial Unions.
Bev established the in-house creative services department at Protection One where she hired and managed the creative staff, developed processes, directed photo/video shoots and was responsible for search and selection of creative service agencies. In 2009, she initiated social media involvement which led to the creation of a first-ever digital media department at the company. Bev was a key member of the marketing alliance team and worked with brands such as Nationwide, BellSouth and Alarm.com.
With the sale of Protection 1 in June 2010, Bev started Bev West Creative, offering design and identity branding as well as creative collaboration services to businesses of any size. She has served clients from Miami to Dallas and even a few right here in northeast Kansas.
